The Ministry of State Property and Real Estate Affairs announced today that the arbitration dispute related to the Franco-Tunisian Bank file has been resolved.
It indicated that it had reached, through the General Authority for State Disputes, which is in charge of the litigation file related to the Franco-Tunisian Bank within the framework of the oldest arbitration case published by the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes,(ICSID) an award in favor of the Tunisian state with regard to the compensation required to be paid.
According to the Arbitration award issued today, December 22, 2023, the Tunisian state must pay only a compensation of 1,106,573 dinars, noting that the the plaintiff requests an amounted of 37 billion Tunisian dinars
